Basketball

Congrats to the 7 th & 8 th grade Purple basketball teams on their victories over West Chicago. Great Job!

Drama Class

 Ms Tudor's 6th period drama class will meet in the LLC today. Bring your costume information and something to write with.

Christmas Sharing

Christmas Sharing Update: This year's 8th graders have won the Christmas Sharing contest for the last two years. Rather than win for a 3rd year, are they being generous again and letting the 6th and 7th graders fill the trees with ornaments first? They have collected a fantastic $205 so far. 7th graders donated $157. 50 yesterday alone and have brought their total to $288.34! They also have the most items in their bin by the front door. The 6th graders have done amazing work this week. Thanks to their generosity and Mr. Oliver's motivational tactics, they have raised over $370! We have passed the 1/2 way point in our goal to raise $1500! Donate today and save your change over the Thanksgiving Break. The collection continues the week we return so that everyone can have a Merry Christmas!

Fitness Club

Morning fitness club will be cancelled the Monday we return from break.  It will resume Tuesday December 1st

Open Gym

Don’t forget about the “Open Gym” at the Warrenville Park District tonight from 6:30-8:30 for middle school students. It’s free – no admission cost. Basketball/soccer, games, concessions. You must come with a school ID. Flyers in the main office.

Book Fair

If you are interested in helping with the Scholastic Book Fair, there will be an informational meeting after school on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving. The meeting will be in the library from 3:00 - 4:00.

After School

Students are reminded that if you are staying to watch a basketball game or wrestling meet you MUST have a ride or parent supervision at Hubble no later than 5:30 PM.  Students who are not picked up in a timely fashion will not be permitted to stay for future after school activities.

Intramurals

Intramurals this week students will have two options: 

Option 1 - Fitness Center

Option 2- Polar Bear Soccer - You need to be dressed for the weather to participate (jacket, warm pants, hat, gloves...)  As long as it is not raining we will be going outside! 

Meet outside the fitness center for either option.  Questions see Mrs. Miller or Mr. Wojdyla. Reminder…..the Fitness Center is open every day before school (Mon.-Fri.) from 7:00-7:40.

Birthday Book

If your birthday is in November, stop by the library to get your birthday book.
